“The following endorsements are from two Texas CPI investigators with Children’s Protective Services.”

In an age in which the parenting role is being criticized, ridiculed, and besieged, and has, in many circles, become nothing more than a label, it is with great pride that I highly recommend the Adults Relating to Kids Parenting Courses. As an investigator in child protection, I was searching for a resource and tool which could be beneficial for parents at all levels, from adept, seasoned parents to those who lack much of anything in the way of parenting knowledge or ability. My search brought me here, and I can honestly say that the ARK Group Parenting courses are some of the best that I have utilized, hands down! From the ease of accessibility, to the practicality of the lessons, and the comprehensive nature of the courses, these lessons are presented in a way that is inviting and gently wise, without seeming too judgmental or demanding, yet without compromising any of the authority behind them. I have had the opportunity to refer several client families to use these parenting courses, and look forward to continue using them…

Good Morning Ms. Joiner,

I wanted to take time out to send a huge THANK YOU to you and staff at The ARKGroup.  I have utilized your online Parenting Course since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, to assist our families who can benefit from having additional parenting education and tips to ensure that their children are safe and protected.  The ARK has definitely been an appropriate and needed resource.

When introduced to ARK for Parents and Caregivers last March, I took the course myself. It is the best parenting course I have seen. Over the past five months, I have worked with around 40 client families, and, of the 30 that needed mitigation, I have referred them exclusively to ARK for Parents and Caregivers.

I wanted to share a recent interaction.  I recently worked with a low-income family who has received multiple referrals with the department and have some indicators that place the children at risk of abuse and/or neglect without intervention services.  During a recent Family Team Meeting with the department and the family’s support system, both Mom and Dad were able to verbally express what they had learned from taking The ARKGroup’s free parenting class and what techniques they could immediately begin to use with their children, to ensure their children are not at risk of abuse and neglect.

Both parents expressed how the class helped them parent their children differently and in a more positive manner.

Community Partners such as The ARKGroup help us to serve families and ensure children are protected and safe.

Thank you for all you do and for helping us serve families in need.  You are greatly appreciated!

Have a wonderful week,

Yolanda

One of the most essential factors in nurturing the social-emotional development of children is the presence in their lives of caring, empathic, supportive adults who express unconditional love.  I believe that the Adults Relating to Kids (ARK) program, which emphasizes these qualities in adults, offers very impressive, realistic strategies for helping children to be more compassionate, hopeful, and resilient.

The Children’s Center for Self-Esteem’s programming for childcare providers is exemplary. It emphasizes the importance of providing the unconditional love and care that creates high self-esteem and elevates the self-concept of children. It also teaches adults how to discipline misbehavior while still respecting the personhood of the child. It is a wonderful program! Cedric Wood, PhD

The ARK program combines the best of psychology with cutting-edge self-concept theory, employing love-based caregiving techniques to build high self-esteem. ARK makes a measurable, qualitative, difference in the lives of children and adults!

The wide variety of classes for care providers, offered by ARK for Parents and Caregivers, is a blueprint for utilizing the principles of unconditional love and care to build an emotionally healthy child.
