Roger Clemens is one of the greatest pitchers in the history of Major League Baseball. He is the record-holder of the Cy Young Award which is annually given to the best pitcher in each league. Roger won the Cy Young award an amazing seven times, playing in both leagues and with four teams, including the Yankees and the Astros. He was an eleven-time MBL All-Star. He and three other pitchers are the only ones to record a 20-strikeout game, and the Rocket is the only pitcher
to have done so twice.

Debbie and Roger are philanthropists who established the Roger Clemens Foundation to support children’s charities in Houston and nationwide. Debbie is a businesswoman and entrepreneur who has appeared on the cover of Texas Family and Houston Woman Magazine. She considers raising her four sons her most treasured accomplishment.

The ARKGroup’s gift of parenting courses to area foster care agencies

The post-foster care situation for many children in Texas is tragic.
• Half the homeless population spent time in foster care.
• Eighteen percent of the state’s prisoners are foster kids.
• Foster children are 5 times more likely to be drug dependent compared to other kids.

Tragically, Texas is not providing our foster kids the needed nurture in order to successfully navigate the outside world. Since the training for Texas foster families does not include a course on parenting, The ARKGroup is providing our award-winning “ARK for Parents and Caregivers” courses pro bono to the pre-foster and foster care agencies in Harris and surrounding counties.
